Adventure #52 takes the beloved cowboy Lucky Luke north of the border, as the Quebec road sign on the cover makes delightfully clear. Achdé's cover art — crafted in the style of Morris — captures Luke astride his trusty horse Jolly Jumper, pistol raised mid-gallop, while a bewildered wolf and a thoroughly dunked moose get caught in the chaos at a riverside crossing. It's a warm and funny snapshot of what writer Laurent Gerra and artist Achdé were bringing to the long-running series in 2015, promising plenty of slapstick charm set against a distinctly Canadian backdrop.
