A Lucky Luke Adventure #43

The forty-third Lucky Luke Adventure finds the lone cowboy atop his trusty spotted horse, hand pressed to his face in a gesture of exasperated disbelief — and given that a trail of skull-shaped smoke puffs drifts ominously across the desert sky, his concern seems entirely warranted. Morris's clean, expressive linework sets the arid Southwest scene perfectly, with red rock formations and cacti framing this wonderfully comedic tableau. A great entry point into the long-running series for newcomers, and a welcome addition for fans who have followed Lucky Luke's deadpan adventures from the start.
