The cover of this 31st Lucky Luke Adventure says it all with cheerful wit: Lucky Luke himself bursts out of a filing cabinet — papers scattering everywhere — leveling his revolver at a burly, blue-vested Pinkerton agent who chomps a cigar and looks decidedly unimpressed, while a "WANTED: Lucky Luke — $60,000" poster and a heavy safe loom in the background. It's a wonderfully compact visual joke that sets up the whole premise — the West's most capable loner going head-to-head with America's most methodical detective agency. Brought to life in 2011 by writer duo Pennac and Benacquista with artwork by Achdé in the style of Morris, this Cinebook English-language edition is a genuinely fun entry in the long-running series.
