In A-Force #2, Nico finally breaks free from the Countess’s control, using her magic to keep her team alive underwater as they execute a daring escape. With a bold split strategy—some confronting the Countess in her dragon form while others shield Nico from her grip—the team’s unity becomes their greatest strength. The issue closes with a powerful act of compassion that changes everything, leaving the group bound together by something deeper than mission or magic. Written by Kelly Thompson and illustrated by Ben Caldwell, with inks by Scott Hanna, colors by Ian Herring, and letters by VC's Cory Petit, the cover by Paulo Siqueira captures the moment’s intensity.
