A-Force #1
"Come On In, the Revolution's Fine" kicks off A-Force #1 with a bold premise: Valkyrie arrives at Avengers HQ and recruits Wasp and the Scarlet Witch into a new team of Lady Liberators. With the male Avengers distracted at a Halloween parade, the Masters of Evil strike — only to be swiftly defeated by the Lady Liberators, who prove their strength in a moment of crisis. But when Valkyrie’s true identity as the Enchantress is revealed, the heroes face a shocking turn as they must confront their former leader. Written by Roy Thomas and illustrated by John Buscema, with inks by Tom Palmer and colors by Tom Palmer, the issue’s dynamic art is matched by its sharp, timely storytelling. The cover, by Jorge Molina, captures the team’s defiant energy.
In the aftermath of Secret Wars, a mysterious figure known as Singularity emerges, searching for the women of A-Force—each of whom doesn’t remember her. When her pursuit begins with Captain Marvel, an unexpected attack by Antimatter forces a sudden alliance. Singularity turns to She-Hulk for answers, and soon Medusa steps in, drawing the trio into a mystery that’s just beginning.
In "null," She-Hulk and Medusa face off against the relentless Antimatter, realizing they can't defeat it alone. With help from Singularity, they seek out Nico Minoru, whose magic briefly contains the threat—only to discover they’ll need Dazzler’s unique powers to stand a chance.
In "null," Jo and the A-Force team face the terrifying Antimatter at the Alpha Flight station, where desperation gives way to a fragile hope for peace. When words fail and Dazzler falls, Singularity steps forward in a final, uncertain bid to confront the unstoppable force alone.
In "null," the A-Force races to stop Antimatter as Singularity holds the line, knowing the plan may cost her life—until the unexpectedly alive Dazzler pulls her into a pocket dimension just before the explosion. With the battle won, the team unwinds, and She-Hulk convinces Dazzler to stay, as Singularity reveals the next danger is already on its way.
