“The Black Tarantula”

"The Black Tarantula" follows a supernatural conflict in which the evil sorceress Elthena transforms a human into a goat and later into a giant black tarantula creature as punishment. A hero named Forret attempts to rescue a girl from Elthena's clutches, but she defeats him and transforms him as well. The creature is eventually stopped when it is weakened by one of Elthena's stings, allowing Forret to be released from the curse. The story concludes with a separate tale of lovers united in marriage after Sir Leopold serves a royal king as a knight, earning the right to wed the king's daughter.
