Based on the hit radio and television series that was "coast to coast's favorite," this February–March 1955 DC issue captures the breezy, carefree spirit of A Date with Judy in a single charming scene. Judy reclines contentedly in a striped hammock tied to a tree, exclaiming to a red-haired young man — presumably Oogie — "This is wonderful, Oogie! It's a good thing we have this tree!", while a second girl peers down curiously from above. It's a delightfully sunny slice of mid-1950s teen comedy, and with the story "Wearing Wear" inside, there's every reason to expect the lighthearted fun the series was beloved for.
