A. Bizarro #3
In "Nine-Inch Sonic Pumpkins," Al Bizarro’s misadventures take a wild turn when Lex Luthor captures him—only for a mysterious Mother Box to whisk him to Apokolips. There, he’s seized by Darkseid’s forces and sent to Granny Goodness’s orphanage, where an unlikely bond forms with a young girl named Seera. As their friendship defies Granny’s strict orders, the two escape and return to Earth, reuniting Al with his longtime companion, W. Wilbur Wolfingham. Written by Steve Gerber and brought to life with striking art by Mark Bright—whose cover pencils define the issue’s offbeat tone—this 1999 DC gem blends surreal humor with unexpected heart.
