A. Bizarro #2
In "Silicon Dreamer," a 1999 DC comic written by Steve Gerber and illustrated by Mark Bright, the tragic figure of Al Bizarro—still grappling with his fractured identity—finds himself caught between self-destruction and unexpected kindness. After being rescued by Superman, Al is taken in by the eccentric W. Wilbur Wolfingham, only to be pursued by Luthor’s forces and tested by a series of bizarre encounters, from a rejected date with henchwoman Tiffany to a failed robbery stopped by the Guardian. The cover by Mark Bright captures the story’s eerie, off-kilter tone, perfectly framing a tale where humanity and malfunction blur.
