52 Aftermath: The Four Horsemen #[nn]

Jul 2008 · DC · 19.99 USD; 22.99 CAD

Against a hellscape of roiling flame, Wonder Woman, Superman, and Batman stand their ground as four nightmarish mechanical-organic monstrosities — the Four Horsemen — loom over them with claws, blades, and cannon-like weaponry raised to strike. The sheer scale of the threat surrounding DC's trinity makes for a genuinely gripping cover, rendered with fierce energy by Ethan Van Sciver. This 2008 collected edition brings together Keith Giffen's story with interior art by Pat Olliffe and John Stanisci, making it a satisfying read for fans of the post-52 DC universe.

The Four Horsemen plan to attack Oolong Island. Mr. Terrific consults with Veronica Cale. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Snapper Carr discuss the threats of the Four Horsemen and Oolong Island. Superman throws an iceberg at the Four Horsemen's lair; they are unharmed, and rise in their new bodies. Wonder Woman is transported to Oolong Island just as Azraeuz's walking dead attack.
