2000 AD and Tornado #133

Prog 133 of 2000 AD and Tornado hits newsstands in October 1979 with one of the most unsettling cover images the weekly had offered readers — a massive, snarling alien face labeled "ZORGON," its red eyes blazing and jagged fangs bared beneath a heavy blue armored helmet, filling the frame with menacing intent. The bold yellow "WANTED — ZAPPED OR ALIVE!" tagline anchors the bottom of the cover by Carlos Ezquerra, turning the whole thing into a gloriously grim intergalactic wanted poster. Inside, the anthology continues with "The Great Muldoon," crafted by writer John Howard and artist/inker Barry Mitchell, with lettering by Tom Frame.
