“Verdus, Part 2”

In "Verdus, Part 2," Judge Dredd finds himself trapped in a surreal nightmare where the Jolly Green Giant looms over him, only to escape into a factory run by Colonel Sanders and teeming with clones of Speedy Alka-Seltzer. As more Jolly Green Giant clones close in, Dredd is captured and moments away from a terrifying procedure—just as the issue cuts to black. A striking cover by Brian Bolland captures the absurdity and tension of the moment, with the artist handling pencils, inks, and colors throughout.
