Prog 455 of 2000 AD (1 Feb '86) delivers a cover by Cam Kennedy that makes its point with gleeful scale: a colossal armored figure known as Omar crushes a scrambling cluster of sword-and-spear-wielding warriors in one enormous fist, while two Judges stand coolly at the bottom, dwarfed by the chaos above — the tagline "Omar's puttin' the squeeze on!" says it all. Inside, Alan Moore and Ian Gibson continue their story "Petrified Forest," promising the kind of sharp, inventive storytelling the pair brought to the Galaxy's Greatest Comic throughout 1986. A fine slice of British weekly comics at their most entertainingly oversized.
