2000 AD #434

From the pages of Britain's premier weekly SF anthology comes 2000 AD Prog 434, dated 7 September 1985. Cliff Robinson's cover captures a street-gang brawl in the making — a crew of tough-looking thugs bearing the "Sharks" name swagger forward armed with a baseball bat, spiked knuckledusters, and a flail, their speech bubbles riffing gleefully on West Side Story ("The Sharks were born for rumbling!"). It's a fun, punchy piece of work that perfectly captures 2000 AD's irreverent energy, with interior thrills continuing in "Time Killer" from Pat Mills and artist David Pugh.
