Prog 378 of 2000 AD (August 1984) heralds a "New Thrill" with the bold cover announcement that Ace Garp is out — and Massimo Belardinelli's cover art makes the most of it, putting the grinning, cone-headed alien front and centre, fist thrust forward, shouting "We's truckin', lugbuddies!" with irresistible energy. Inside, Alan Grant's "Outlaw! Part 16" continues the adventure, with C. Ezquerra handling both pencils and inks on the interior art. At 22p Earth Money, this is a lively slice of British weekly comics at their most inventive.
