Prog 367 of 2000 AD hits hard with a Massimo Belardinelli cover that throws Celtic warrior Sláine face-to-face with a massive, fire-breathing red dragon — the bold cover question "Sláine… Dragonslayer?" adding just the right note of savage suspense. Belardinelli's linework crackles with energy, from the skulls scattered across the rocky ground to the streams of flame licking toward Sláine's raised axe. With Pat Mills writing and M. Belardinelli on art for "Dragonheist, Part 7," this May 1984 prog is a fine slice of British comics at their most thrillingly barbaric.
