Prog 335 of 2000 AD, dated 24 September 1983, arrives with a striking split cover by Carlos Ezquerra and Kevin O'Neill that sets two worlds dramatically apart: on the left, the monstrous, battle-axe-wielding alien figure of Nemesis the Warlock amid dark, fiery chaos, and on the right, the armoured bounty hunter of Strontium Dog lunging forward with weapon in hand against a pale sky. The cover boldly announces two new stories inside, and readers also got a free poster (430mm × 550mm) to sweeten the deal. Interior duties on "The Graveyard Shift, Part 1" fall to writer T. B. Grover and artist/inker Ron Smith, with lettering by T. Frame — a solid creative team delivering fresh thrills at just 20p.
