“The Beast in the Broch, Part 3”

Prog 333 of 2000 AD (10 September 1983) puts Judge Dredd front and center in true Carlos Ezquerra style — helmeted, scowling, and astride his Lawmaster as the sprawling cityscape of Mega-City One stretches behind him, while a speech bubble delivers the deadpan gem "Um… Synth-Sausage!" as he holds up what appears to be a rather dubious foodstuff. It's a wonderfully absurd snapshot of life under the Law, blending Dredd's trademark stern authority with the dark comic humor that made 2000 AD essential weekly reading in 1983. Inside, Pat Mills and M. Belardinelli continue "The Beast in the Broch" — and there's even a chance to win a BMX bike, because Mega-City One isn't the only place with competition.
