2000 AD #22

Cover artist Evi DeBono packs the scene with genuine menace, the mutant's clawed mechanical arm and red eyes making the "Mutant on the Metro!" tagline feel entirely earned. Inside, John Wagner and Ian Gibson bring their talents to bear on "Cheddar Gorge," making this an appealing slice of vintage British comics mayhem priced at just 9p.
