2000 AD #211

Judge Dredd dominates Ron Smith's cover in full armored regalia, both guns blazing as panicked civilians scatter beneath him — all framed by a striking collage of faces and scenes that hint at the anthology's rich cast of characters within. Published 9 May 1981 as Prog 211, this issue continues "Portrait of a Mutant" with Alan Grant writing and Carlos Ezquerra on art and inks. It's a great snapshot of 2000 AD firing on all cylinders during one of its most energetic early periods.
