2000 AD #1891

2000 AD Prog 1891 promises something suitably grim and grand, with Alex Ronald's cover depicting a rugged, sword-wielding warrior bracing himself against a pair of towering, blue-skinned giants looming out of a smoky, ember-lit sky. The tagline "Here be Monsters" and the promise of new thrill Black Shuck starting inside give this 2014 prog an especially foreboding atmosphere. With John Wagner writing and Boo Cook handling art, inks, and colors on "Student Bodies Part Two," there's plenty of distinctive talent packed between these covers.
