2000 AD #184

This November 1980 prog from IPC's 2000 AD features a wonderfully chaotic cover by Mike McMahon, depicting Judge Dredd buried beneath a massive brawling pile of apes, gorillas, and assorted primates spilling out of — and around — a trash can, with the cheeky tagline "No-One Apes the Law!" promising plenty of simian mayhem. The cover text advertises "Monkey Business at the Charles Darwin Block," setting up a riotous premise that McMahon renders with gleeful, kinetic energy. Inside, Alan Grant and Ezquerra bring their sharp storytelling to "The Schicklgruber Grab, Part 3," making Prog 184 a solid mid-arc entry from one of 2000 AD's most creatively charged periods.
