Prog 1646 of 2000 AD announces itself with a genuinely unsettling cover by Simon Davis — a rotting, hollow-eyed zombie head crowned with a wild cascade of dreadlocks, staring out beneath the bold declaration "Off With Their Heads!" and the tagline "Defoe Battles a Reek Revolution." Inside, Al Ewing and Karl Richardson continue their "Rehab" storyline, with lettering by Annie Parkhouse rounding out the creative team. It's a wonderfully grotesque slice of what "The Galaxy's Greatest Comic" does best, hitting shelves in July 2009.
