Prog 1645 of 2000 AD hits with a cover by Anthony Williams that's genuinely hard to look away from — a leering, mechanical clown with razor-sharp bladed limbs lunges forward while a figure cowers in the lower corner, all rendered in a sickly yellow-green palette that makes the red nose pop like a warning light. The banner promises "The House of Bones" with Sinister Dexter going under the knife, alongside a packed lineup including Judge Dredd, The Red Seas, Terror Tales, and Defoe. It's a strong 2009 package from "The Galaxy's Greatest Comic," with interior work on the Sinister Dexter strip from the team of Al Ewing and Karl Richardson.
