2000 AD #1564

Prog 1564 of 2000 AD puts the Mandroid front and center — literally — with a close-up of his imposing, flat-topped face dominating the cover as smaller panels below show two very different human figures caught in his shadow. The cover copy frames the tension perfectly: "The Mandroid must make a choice: between a Drokk… and a hard place!" — a suitably grim tease for Part 10 of John Wagner's "Mandroid: Instrument of War," with cover art by Peter Doherty. Rounding out this November 2007 prog are teaser strips for Judge Dredd, Nikolai Dante, Sinister Dexter, The Red Seas, and Button Man, making it a satisfyingly packed weekly anthology.
