Prog 1440 of 2000 AD arrives with a genuinely unsettling cover by Mark Harrison — a gaunt, wide-eyed figure clutches a hefty sci-fi firearm while monstrous tentacles and alien claws loom menacingly out of the sickly green atmosphere around him, teasing the V.C.s story "Smith Goes Psycho" promised in the header.
