2000 AD #1349

Prog 1349 of the long-running British anthology arrives with one of the more memorably strange covers of 2003 — a detailed anatomical diagram of "Fig. 1: Homo Lobsteralis," a muscular humanoid figure sporting enormous lobster claws in place of hands, complete with deadpan scientific labels pointing out features like the "mandible superioris muscle (commonly known as 'smart mouth')" and the cheerful footnote "Strictly droids only!" Cover art by Graham Rolfe leans into clinical illustration style to wonderfully absurd effect. Inside, John Wagner continues "Revenge of the Chief Judge's Man" with art by John Burns, so there's plenty of craft behind the cover's quirky promise.
