“Fog on the Eerie, Part 3”

This prog of Britain's self-proclaimed best comic (the banner makes it official!) puts Nikolai Dante front and centre in a striking painted-style portrait, his dark hair and intense gaze commanding attention as a fearsome array of blade-like claws fan out from his hands in an X-shaped flourish. The cover copy promises "Dante's Deadly Digits" as the Russian Rogue "Gets Handy," rendered with real menace by cover artist S. B. Davis. Rounding out the prog is the conclusion of Sláine's Scottish Saga, teased with a nod to Braveheart — a solid issue of 2000 AD's reliably varied anthology fare from 1997.
