There is every indication that no such records of reduced maintenance have ever been made by any car assuming to deliver to its owners the highest possible character of motoring power, comfort and speed. The motorist who has never found in any but the most expensive cars to operate the fine quality of motor- ing necessary to his comfort, need no longer accept as a sort of penalty "a high cost of operation. Single-Six simplicity of parts-design and accuracy of parts-machining are accomplishing some very notable and probably unprecedented results in low operating expenditure. During the earliest months of the Single-Six some of the carefully com- piled reports from various parts of the country were so unusual as al- most to arouse scepticism. As Single-Sixes in service have multiplied into the thousands, these reports of negligible monthly outlay on the part of the owner have not only been confirmed in hundreds and hundreds of cases, but have even gone beyond original expectations.
