The contributions as they are received will be passed upon and such as are accepted for publication will be paid for at the rate af five cents a word. The one which the editors of Lire consider the best of Bans Words on Feminism all the contributions accepted will re- ceive the prize of three hundred dol- lars. The competition begins at once. The accepted manuscript will be pub- lished in the Feminist Number of Lift, to be issued the first week in June, 1914. This number will present. the case for and against Feminism from Lire’s own standpoint. Conpitions. No manuscript. shall exceed five hundred words in length, Any number of manuscripts on the subject can be sent in by one con- tributor. The name and address of cach con- testant should be placed upon the manuscript, which preferably should be typewritten, All those manuscripts which are not acceptable will he returned, if accom- panied by postage; but while due care will be exercised, Lire will not he re- sponsible for the loss or non-return of any manuscript. Contributors are urged to keep a duplicate of their contribution. The contest will close on Saturday, May 2nd. No. manuscript. received after noon on that date will he con- sidered.
