Dixey is far more successful than in “ The Solicitor.” The play, although less conventional, is better of its kind and gives Mr. Dixey better oppor- tunities for the display of his un- questioned ability. He gives his audiences an_ insight into his methods of “making up,” and some of his counterfeits of well- known people are surprising in their faithfulness, “The Man With a Hundred Heads" is very funny, and may be relied upon to chase away even the most obstinate of blue devils.
