JUDGE Plea for Fair Play Many ago a years joke writer was unable to perpetrate anything original for the Yuletide ed- ition of his fav- orite magazine so he wisely decided to let Nature take its course. Dusting off an old idea he used it as the basis of an article shaped like a tree and the Soon Christmas editor bit on_ it. other writers and editors acquired the habit and now no magazine dares go to press with- out at least one piece in the shape of a tree. This rank dis- crimination must stop. Are mag- azines read only by little ones?
