\AIG I Went toa birthday party the other night that was ra a novelty but kind of hard on the bird whose natal day was being celebrated were all invited to arrive at his house shortly before midnight to surprise him he had gone to bed at peace with the world and probably dream- ing what he would do the next day ++ .+- promptly at twelve, our hostess led us all upstairs and fined us around the host’s bed where we watched her wake him from a deep slumber and hand him a cocktail he rose to the occasion nobly and it wasn't very long before the party was in full blast it seems tome though, that you'd have to be awfully careful who you picked to throw one of these midnight parties most of the birds I know are awful crabs when they wake up, and all the more so if it is their birthday!
