It is ‘Monroe."’ A simi of puzzles appeared in the Jupce of May 11th, 18th, and A Check for Twenty Dollars will be sent to the person sending the correct solutions to the twenty-four puz- zles appearing in this, and the three last, issues (six in each issue), which in the matter of penmanship, neatness, ete., are considered by the editor to be the most worthy. In addition, there will be a second prize of $10, four prizes of $5 each, 5 subscriptions to JupGce, and 10 subscriptions to JuDGE’S QUARTERLY. All, whether regular readers of Jupce or not, may compete. Send in your answers to the four sets of puzzles as soon as possible after the last set has appeared, in the issue of June Ist. = ‘This is not a guess- fng contest.
