It will consist of 48 handsomely printed and T lithographed pages, exclusive of cover, and will be sold for 30 cents per copy. In addition to the regular cartoons there will be presented with it, in form convenient for framing, one of the most beautiful and most brilliantly executed supplements that has. ever appeared in a publication of this character. This supplement is taken ftom a picture painted expressly for “ JUDGE” by Gilbert Gaul, N.A., the well-known American Artist, at a cost of $3,000, entitled “‘ Bringing up the Guns.” The painting is the exclusive property of the Judge Publishing Co. The supplement will be printed in twenty colors in imitation of oil, and will be literally the very acme of lithographic art, even surpassing the famous “Horse Fair” supplement issued with Christmas Judge a couple.of years ago, The literary and artistic features of the Christmas Judge will be of the most attractive character.
