The October 30 number of the JubaE is a fine imen of the chromo-lithographic art. The chief illustrations are devoted to the Bartholdi statue, and the double-page picture of this is simply beautiful. It contains, in addition to a picture of the statue, likenesses of the monument committee. The whole thing is alike creditable to the publishers and the occasion. ‘This number should be in demand to send to friends at a dis- tance on both sides of the Atlantic.—Albany Knickerbocker. A CREDIT TO THEM ALL The Bartholdi issue of the Jupaz—embellished with gold bordering in honor of the statue of Liberty, was a magnificent number. Zimmer- man occupied the first page, Gillam had the double page inside with an illuminated apostrophe to the statue, while Hamilton filled the last page witha cartoon.
