Science Fiction Adventures (Volume 2, No. 10, 1959) features two short novels and a short story. "Galactic Destiny" by E.C. Tubb concerns the crew of a starship staffed by the Folk, an alien spacefaring civilization. Captain Jak conducts his routine inspection while his sister Sar monitors controls. When Smith, a human Cleric (Christian missionary), requests a tour of the vessel, Jak reluctantly permits it. During the inspection, Smith observes the ship's hydroponics systems, engines, and quarters while Jak explains the Vortiski drive that enables faster-than-light travel through No-Space. Smith probes Jak's understanding of Christianity and the concept of God. "The Silent Invaders" by Calvin M. Knox depicts Earth as an unseen battleground between two galactic powers competing for dominance. "Call Them Earthmen" by N.K. Hemming completes the issue.
