# New Worlds No. 72 Contents

This issue contains five pieces of science fiction. The cover story is John Wyndham's novelette "Idiot's Delight," set on a British Moon station in 2044. Commander Michael Troon faces isolation from his crew during an international crisis when Earth politics threaten the station; Dr. Ellen visits him to encourage understanding amid the emotional strain. Dan Morgan's novelette "The Star Game" follows. Short stories include Robert Silverberg's "Absolutely Inflexible," John Brody's "Ringside Seat," Sydney J. Bounds' "The Wayward Ship," and Robert Presslie's "One For The Road." Kenneth Johns contributes an article, "Outward Bound (2)." The editorial reports formation of the British Science Fiction Association with David Newman as chairman, and an obituary for C.M. Kornbluth, prolific author of "The Space Merchants" and other works, who died in March at age 35.
