# Museum Catalog Note
This weekly pulp series installment, El dogal al cuello (The Noose Around the Neck), is the 75th issue in Editorial Bruguera's martial arts adventure collection ¡KIAI!. The story concerns Baxter, a vacationing adventurer in Honolulu, who intercepts a black-clad female thief named Sidonie Cayburn scaling down his hotel balcony during a robbery. She reveals a murder has occurred upstairs in the room of Japhard Laskie, a San Francisco businessman carrying a quarter-million dollars in a briefcase—money apparently intended for an illegal transaction. The stolen cash vanishes with the killer. Baxter, moved by Sidonie's beauty and cleverness, strikes a bargain to keep her identity secret from police. The narrative continues with Baxter's mysterious kidnapping via taxi, establishing a thriller plot mixing hotel-based crime with espionage elements.
