Yhashada invites Schank to collaborate on a psychological experiment involving mental capacity extinction theory and offers to introduce him to an Indian woman. The narrative establishes Schank's frivolous personality through his internal monologues and romantic entanglements, while introducing the unsettling revelation of Yhashada's telepathic abilities reading Schank's thoughts across fourteen thousand miles.
