Esporas infernales

Their professional partnership fractures when Corie Lacroix, a brilliant female scientist (top graduate among one hundred), joins their laboratory. Competition for Corie's attention creates tension between the friends. The story explores their world's social hierarchy, where biologists hold privileged status while the general population, terrified by the biological threat, resents their elevated position and perceived ineffectiveness in solving the crisis.
