El teléfono rosa, vol. 1 y 2

This Spanish-language pulp magazine contains two spy-thriller stories. The first, "El teléfono rosa" (The Pink Telephone) by Lou Carrigan, begins with CIA agent James Potters receiving a cryptic postcard from his sister Stella mentioning "the pink telephone" and warning him not to call. Before he can visit her, a beautiful blonde woman named Berenice arrives at his apartment claiming connection to Stella. After offering him a cocktail, Berenice fatally stabs Potters multiple times in the kidneys with a switchblade knife she conceals in her dress, killing him moments before his colleague Bill arrives. The second story, "Brigitte en acción" (Brigitte in Action), features Brigitte Montfort, a Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper editor and secret CIA spy (Agent N.Y. 7117, nicknamed "Baby"). She converses with Frank Minello, sports editor at her newspaper, who visits her apartment to invite her to the countryside and tell her jokes, despite her having worked until 2:30 a.m. the previous night.
