# El Circo del Horror
This Spanish-language pulp serial, penned by Adam Surray, opens with FBI Agent Mickey Dempsey summoned by Inspector Norman Wallach regarding the "Circo del Horror," a macabre traveling circus directed by Doug Weston. The circus, featuring deformed performers and exotic horrors, has been linked to a pattern of federal crimes across multiple states. Inspector Wallach presents evidence: five high-profile murders with sadistic modus operandi (victims disemboweled, beheaded, dismembered); thirty-two young women aged twenty to twenty-five vanished from towns where the circus performed; and a sudden drug trafficking resurgence in Mississippi after the circus passed through. Though investigations found no concrete evidence of illegality, Washington has ordered undercover infiltration. Dempsey is selected to infiltrate the circus operation, despite his skepticism about building cases on coincidence alone.
