Blue and Gray Weekly, No. 7

This issue of Blue and Gray Weekly for September 23, 1904 contains the opening installment of "On Special Service" by Lieutenant Harry Lee, a Civil War serial. Later, encountering a Confederate column that spots them, Clark's Blues deploy and retreat into timber to avoid being overwhelmed. The narrative emphasizes strategy, danger, and youthful patriotic courage in combat conditions.
