# Amazing Stories, September 1928
This issue of Amazing Stories, edited by Hugo Gernsback, contains four complete stories and the second installment of a serial. "The Ambassador from Mars" appears first, followed by "The Invisible Bubble" by Kirk Meadowcroft. David H. Keller, M.D. contributes "Unlocking the Past." "The Great Steel Panic" is by Irvin Lester and Fletcher Pratt. The serial The Skylark of Space by Edward Elmer Smith, in collaboration with Lee Hawkins Garby, continues in part two of three, featuring space travel to a newly discovered planet whose inhabitants possess advanced mechanical but less developed atomic science compared to Earth. The issue includes advertisement for Coyne Electrical School and the American School of Electricity offering correspondence courses in electrical trades.
