# Contents

This issue contains three science fiction stories. The opening story features Vana Parmelee, daughter of the United Galaxy Council's president, kidnapped while Earth faces invasion from the militarized planet Minos. Protagonist Aarp Calgon possesses the super ray-blast that alone can defend Earth. After being knocked unconscious by aliens, the narrator finds himself transported through time and eventually returns to discover Aarp has recovered memories. The story concludes with the narrator planning to travel through time to reunite with his "Princess of the Future."

"Blood Stands for Freedom," by an unidentified author, centers on Earth ambassador John Alden's mission to Mars, where a thousand octopus-like overlords enslave millions of Martian masses. After reporting brutal conditions to Earth's president, Alden receives mysterious orders. Dr. Jonathan Harrod has developed technology to shrink Earth's armies to microscopic size and inject them into Alden's bloodstream. Upon returning to Mars, Alden extracts the blood through a specialized device, restoring troops to full size, who swiftly liberate the planet.

A third story, "The Beautiful Robot," begins depicting mysterious deaths among atomic scientists, with investigation undertaken by a radiation-poisoned Japanese researcher.
