# Museum Catalog Note
This March 1941 issue of Western Story presents eight adventure narratives across frontier and logging settings. The lead serial, "Six Gun Savior of Doomed Range" by Ed Earl Repp, depicts Bill Bronc attempting to prevent a range war between rancher Scotty Halletts and squatter neighbors. "Red Hell Hits the Fur Lanes" by Harlan Graves involves Bill Bland and Old Quart Denton facing fur pirates along the Taos trails. Rolland Lynch's "Logs and Blood for Pitt River" follows Jim Ridell attempting to restore courage to terrorized loggers facing the Big Three's killers. Additional stories include "Death Waits for Runt Malone" by Ralph Emerson Krueger, concerning a mail service operator competing against the Pony Express; "Blizzard Rendezvous" by Barry Cord featuring the outlaw Tucson Kid; "Bullet Quarantine for Gaucho" by Lionel E. I. Day with Sheriff Matt Ronson investigating a dead man's secret; "Hope Eternal's Home-Made Jail-Break" by Hapsburg Liebe; and "Gun Shy" by Jay Karth, following young Rusty Farnow confronting Wolf Starr.
