This pulp anthology contains fifteen western stories, combining contemporary action tales with reprinted classics. The new fiction includes "The Wild Time" by John Lumsden, featuring eighteen-year-old Dick Foster, a troubled youth with multiple guns who increasingly falls under the influence of the rough Noren boys; the story explores tensions between Foster's restless nature and his respectable mother.
