Β· July 1955

This document is a Project 10073 record card (the U.S. Air Force's UFO investigation program) dated July 7, 1955, documenting a sighting in Baltimore, Maryland. A civilian observer reported a spherical, silver object approximately four feet in diameter that appeared to diminish to three feet. The object, seemingly propelled by light wind, landed roughly 100 feet from the witness and subsequently disintegrated against a fence without leaving residue, appearing as tiny bubbles approximately pencil-eraser sized. The investigating officer concluded the sighting likely resulted from soap bubbles, noting similarity to a previous Baltimore sighting from February 23, 1955, though headquarters retained physical evidence. The case was classified as insufficient data for evaluation, with "probably balloon" marked as a possible conclusion.
