Myriopus paniculatus (Cham.) Feuillet

· Collected 1839; lectotype selected 1930

This is a botanical herbarium specimen, not a political cartoon or caricature. It shows a pressed and dried plant — Myriopus paniculatus (Cham.) Feuillet, formerly Tournefortia paniculata — mounted on archival paper with handwritten collector notes, a color calibration chart, and a ruled scale bar. Collected by Gardner (no. 3362) in Villa de Natividade, Brazil, in 1839, it serves as an islectotype in the Natural History Museum, London. No satirical tradition, printmaking technique, or caricature content applies here. Describing it otherwise would misrepresent a scientific primary source document of legitimate taxonomic and historical importance.
